Our Special Buckwheat Honey is a naturally darker honey with a rich, robust flavor that sets it apart from lighter varieties. Its deep color and bold character come from the nectar sources gathered by the honeybees, not from blending, flavoring, or processing.

What Makes Dark Buckwheat Honey Special?
Dark honeys such as buckwheat are especially interesting because of their naturally occurring plant compounds. Research has found that darker honeys, including buckwheat honey, can contain higher levels of phenolic compounds and greater antioxidant activity than many lighter-colored honeys.
